The sun’s heat, trapped by greenhouse gases can illuminate or distract. Obfuscation, the cloudy doubts sown by fossil fuel giants and governments, have made their mark on our present world as much as does our sun, rain, and blanket tonnage of CO2.
It may be more correct to say we must face an uncomfortable truth, which socially, is just as challenging as An Inconvenient Truth was years ago. In fact, as a pro-social species given to our cherished biases, the problems we face at present are heavily influenced by social fears of inconvenience, but also the real concern that it’s uncomfortable to talk about climate, or teachers may feel unable to be confident about the ever-updated new knowledge.
