My first night in Bangkok was not a great start.
I got a ‘Hong Kong’ feeling on my first night in Bangkok. I made my first visit to Hong Kong after spending a week in laid-back Bali, and I found Hong Kong to be overpowering. I felt I had made the same mistake with Bangkok. I had come from the relaxed and laid-back town of Luang Prabang (???????????????????????????/???????????????????????????), Laos, into the madness of the large city of Bangkok.
My base for the next few days was Lohas Suites Sukhumvit by SUPERHOTEL, 75 Sukhumvit 2, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110. On my first night, I decided to go to dinner at The Great Kabab Factory, Majestic Grande Hotel (12 Sukhumvit soi 2), Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110.
