I am writing this post because I am angry. I am angry that popular media channels have the power to share information with very little care and govern toward such a large consumer. We are a society that consumes bits of information on the internet quicker than we ever have. So many headlines, so little context, so little evidence, so little quality control… and no accountability.
This evening, I was flicking through videos on YouTube, winding down after university. Shortly after, I moved to YouTube Shorts, most of it was mundane, YT shorts is no TikTok after all, but then I came across a title, “Transgender Pedophile CONFRONTED…”
