Alright then. At the risk of getting assaulted by the internet, let’s talk Animal.
I absolutely bloody vibed with much of this movie. I was either completely with it for the portions I could make sense of (much of the first half) or was utterly fascinated by the (long) stretches I couldn’t. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. A messy relationship/family drama meets a massy (?) violent gangster movie meets a tragic, ugly character study.
