One of my favorite anonymous quotes is this:
Pleasing everybody is never a responsibility. If they like you for who you are, good. If not, it’s their problem not yours. — Unknown
And how true it is!
In today’s society, the pressure to excel in every aspect of life can be just way too much.
We are bombarded with messages from everywhere telling us we should be perfect at work, in relationships, with our appearance, in how much money we make, on and on.
But here’s the thing.
You don’t have to be freaking great at every darn thing. It’s okay to be average, have weaknesses, and focus on what truly matters to YOU.
It’s ok to embrace imperfection and choose selective greatness!
Why? Because it can help you lead to a happier, more fulfilling life.

Look. Nobody is perfect and that’s what makes us all unique and interesting in our own way.
Trying to be the end-all-be-all in everything is not only unrealistic but it can be exhausting. It’s not sustainable.
