When former presidential candidate Andrew Yang announced recently that he had helped to form a new, somewhat centrist third party, I knew that he was about to be raked over the coals. I knew that people on the right would immediately dismiss the effort because the Republican Party has moved so very far off the rails that it is barely recognizable.
What bothered me more was my prediction that before the fledgling party would be able to draw its first breath, it would be beaten down and demolished by the Left.
