Since my time with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been inordinately limited due to my significant other bogarting the cartridge I decided to take to the archives and replay some old Zelda games.
Unwittingly I set myself up for future sorrows in exchange for a hefty dose of short-term enjoyment by choosing to replay Wind Waker first.
Setting Some Standards
This is a retrospective opinion piece written in 2023 and not a 2003 release day review. As our rating system clearly articulates, nothing is perfect and we simply write about games subjectively.
