Plenty of things can go wrong when you travel. And that’s what I dreaded — things going wrong.
It was my first trip overseas since the pandemic. Of course, I wanted everything to go according to plan. I had so many worries: what if we get lost? What if our flight is delayed? What if we didn’t bring enough money?
To soothe my worries, I lifted our Taipei trip to the Lord. I know He ain’t no genie, but I asked Him to oversee our trip. I added a “pretty please hope everything goes well.”
But that’s just not how it works. And I’m glad it’s that way.
