I’ve been breathing soccer my whole life. I grew up thinking about soccer 24 hours a day and I still do. My first steps in soccer saw me develop my skills at a local academy in Valencia, Spain and when I was 12 years old I signed up for Valencia CF where I played seven years passing through all age groups. After having a knee injury and stopping soccer at a high level I decided to study Sports Science and started my coaching experience at a local youth academy in Valencia.
Explain your vision of coaching to us.
I like the idea of teaching the kids to think for themselves, to be selfish and at the same time being a good teammate. I try to teach the kids the simplicity of soccer: control, pass and move and the importance of tempo and decision making.
