The Pen and the Time
The pen is mightier than the sword
That’s at least what I always thought
It cuts through nonsense with insight and wit
And it settles agreements that properly fit
But pens are for those who will read
Who have time for considered deeds
They are used at a time of control
And are lost when the war starts to roll
