Vancouver residents are unrealistic to demand all the amenities of a modern city, while at the same time not be willing to pony up the cash to pay for those amenities.
It’s as though Vancouverites “want to have their cake and eat it too.” It’s impossible to have the best of both worlds. This article will discuss three reasons why this is so: 1) the cost of living is always rising 2) Vancouver wants to keep its reputation as being one of the most livable cities in the world 3) No-one can put a dollar value on having all the amenities which the city of Vancouver offers its residents.
