When I was a kid I was crazy for Air Jordans. Every year when the newest Jordan came out I had to go get a pair and then hit the basketball court to see how they felt. I loved the entire experience of shopping for shoes.
Looking back, I think it’s the woman in me that loves shoe shopping. After Jordan retired from basketball, I slowed down a bit on the Jordans, but picked up on the high heel purchases.
I must have had at least 30 pairs of heels over the years. But as I got older and wiser, not to mention how my ankles were taking a beating every time I wore them for an extended period of time, I finally gave up on the high heels too.
