A Tithi in a Hindu calendar is a lunar day. A Thithi is calculated when the moon moves 12 degrees eastwards from the sun. There are 15 Tithis in a fortnight. Since the motions of the sun and the moon are always varying in speed, the length of a Tithi constantly alters.
Shashti (Yasha Prada — One that gives Fame)is the 6th tithi in any Paksha (Shukla Paksha — bright fortnight / Krishna Paksha — dark fortnight) in a Hindu month. Natives have bad temper and are moody. They will be blessed with many male children. They are addicted to pleasures of the senses and will be surrounded by a large circle of friends, and can be fond of travelling. The native also has the capability to persuade others with his words. You may have courage to struggle.
