Rediscovering Freedom: A Life on pause

Since very early in my life I have been a fan of Ninjas. Over time this developed into a love for Japanese culture, art and cuisine.
Always longing to go but never expecting having the chance to.

Well, sometimes things change I guess. My wife enrolled at university and gets told about an exchange program. Fast forward 3,5 years and we uproot everything at home and move halfway across the world.
We used to live in a house in a tiny town with about 500–600 residents.
Now we are living in a small apartment in one of the busiest cities in the world.

And while some things are struggles, we have decided to throw the paddle over board, go with the flow and embrace the adventure.
