La Nueva Radio didn’t exactly set any hearts afire. Aire Libre did, but they set fire to a lot of cash, too, and their relationship with Eduardo Henkel.
From the perspective of Chilango magazine, which has been in print for 20 years, this is an expansion of a small existing radio effort — a weekly program on XHUIA-FM Ibero 90.9 that went out for the first time in 2020. Clearly that program had enough audience interest to motivate the parent company, Capital Digital, to plow into the field.
