There’s nothing like a significant anniversary, personal or professional, to provoke reflection on one’s journey and plans. Celebrating my tenth anniversary of working with Limak Group has certainly led me to look back at how I’ve reached this point and what useful advice I can pass on to young women who are just embarking on their careers.
When I was starting out over 30 years ago, there were very few examples of women in leadership roles in my industry, so the idea that I might one day lead a major international construction project would have seemed a highly unlikely — but very pleasant — daydream.
