Asmost people will be aware, there’s a devastating conflict taking place in Gaza right now.
Following brutal attacks by Hamas on the 7th October, in which 1,400 Israeli civilians and military personnel were killed or taken hostage, the Israeli government has responded with a full military and aerial assault on the densely populated Gaza Strip.
At least 10,000 Palestinians have now been killed, with 30,000 injured; 1.5 million Palestinians have been displaced, along with a quarter of a million Israelis, according to AP news.
Calls for ceasefire have been ignored, and most Western governments have given Israel full backing in its now weeks-long assault on Gaza — an area a quarter the size of London with 2.3 million residents, half of whom are children.
