In 1453, Sultan Mehmed II launches one of the greatest attacks of all history on the majestic and most powerful walls of the world at that time — the walls of constantinople. Employing the latest war technology, that is the new and advanced cannons that can fire balls of 500 kg at a magnificent speed, Sultan Mehmed II led a brutal siege that lasted 53 days against the city.

The Byzantine army, consisting of 8000 soldiers with their leader Costantine XI, led a fierce battle against the Sultan. Although greatly outnumbered — with the Sultan army consisting of 100,000 soldiers at the time — , the Byzantine army stood its ground and defended the city bravely. At the end of the siege, the Sultan led a final attack from multiple directions against the Byzantines, overwhelming the city and breaking through the indestructible walls of Constantinople.
