I’ve decided to get 100 career rejections in a year, and to kick it off, I spent some time applying for jobs on Upwork — a platform to connect employers to freelancers.
I applied for 5 jobs.
- 2 were translating jobs
- 2 were obvious content mills
- 1 was super vague — I’m still not sure what I applied for.
I got rejected from all of them. Kind of.
3 jobs did accept my proposal only to ask me to message them on telegram. Upwork had taken down all 3 jobs before I could respond.
After a few days, I was given a notif letting me know my proposal was declined (and my credits refunded).
