Our boy Troye has not only been outspokenly gay from the start of his professional recording career at the age of 18, but 10 years on he’s also proven himself to be an immensely talented songwriter, and quite frankly, just reallyfuckinggood.
He’s also done his fair share of heavy lifting in moving queerness further into the mainstream with hits like the oh-so-subtle bottoming anthem “Bloom” from his album of the same name (which I still hear this all the time while shopping at the hardware store), touring with Taylor Swift (more from her later), and appearing in film and TV projects like Boy Erased and The Idol.
