I’m always railing about Republicans and their fluid loyalties, especially concerning Trump. I know that it seems like I constantly pick on Republicans.
Today, I would like to pick on a Democrat instead. At least a Democrat at this moment of time.
Let’s talk about Matthew Dowd. He’s a Democrat running for Lieutenant Governor in Texas where a Democrat hasn’t won statewide office since 1994.
Does the name ring a bell? It should. His last government job was in 2004 as a political advisor to . . . drumroll please . . . George W. Bush.
