As mentioned in one of my previous Medium articles, I’m a Catholic who was raised bireligious: Christian mom & Muslim dad. My Bible is beside me here in my office at UC-San Diego & my Holy Quran is at home. I’ve always enjoyed the enrichment of other religions, faiths, traditions, beliefs — and non-belief — in my friendships & relationships. As such, I was curious as to whether or not individuals from interfaith families are more or less likely to date individuals who share the religion of the parent that the subjects themselves share a faith with.
