The weather may have thrown us more than a few curveballs on this trip, but there was something we just kept managing to avoid, and that was rain when we had to pack down the tent. When we’d checked the previous night, the forecast had assured us that it would almost certainly be raining all morning from the wee hours and well into the afternoon. Of course, that left us going to bed rather worried about how we would logistically get all of our stuff into the car without it being ruined. When we awoke, though, it was to the warm glow of morning sunlight, and a fresh check of the forecast showed us that clear skies were on the cards for the majority of the day. A most imprecise science indeed.
