I got married at 30, so lucky for me, anniversary years are easy to account for: I’m 71 so this year’s anniversary is #41. That sounds like a long time to me, but I don’t feel like it’s been a long time. It seems fresh and new even now, as we’re still figuring each other out! Human’s are complex, amiright?
Every year we try to celebrate the date with at least a dinner, sometimes a small trip, sometimes, on the big years (like last year’s 40) a big trip.
This year, with just 1 year off the big trip, there was nothing big planned. An intimate dinner in a cute little restaurant suited us just fine.
