Everyone has different reasons for developing a spiritual practice.
For some, it’s meeting a spiritual person whose expression of “self” has a profoundly inspiring effect on them, motivating them to seek the same medicine.
For others, it’s a tragedy, it’s the experience of grief—perhaps a life-altering event that breaks them, makes them raw, activates the internal peace-seeker within them.
For others still, spiritual practice is a tradition within their family, or a way to relieve stress, sometimes even a way to pass the time or try something “new.”
