From many indications, it seems the upcoming election this November, in many ways, might be far-different that previous ones, and many things some Americans seem to take for granted, are potention victims, and at-stake! Because of a combination of factors, including the incredible degree of partisan extremism and polarization, to today’s technology and potential abuses of digital formats, to the super-high costs of running for office (and thus, the amount of influence from PACs, and interest-groups), etc., it is conceivable this may be the end for our unique form of Constitutional democracy. With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, review and discuss 7 of these factors, and why they are concerning.
