It was around midnight in Athens.
We had just gone to eat with a Dutch friend and decided to go home walking through Filopappou Hill.
The night was pleasant. 20°C and the park was quiet.
In the darkness, we could not see much.
Only the moon in the clear sky was illuminating our path.
And as we were taking a small passage going downhill, we heard in the bush a barking mass rushing towards us.
Stray dogs do not like to be awakened
The dogs were not happy to see two humans in their territory.
We had probably surprised them in their sleep.
Showing their teeth and growling at 3 meters from us.
They were ready to attack.
I tell my friend not to make a move. And wait.
As soon as the pack understand we are not a threat, they will let us go.
