Creg Lyles loved the theater and the arts- but even more than that, he loved his family and friends. He had a large network that included his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count.
He struggled a bit growing up in Pontiac, Michigan. Being black, and gay, sometimes he felt a little bit like an outsider. But everyone who knew him loved him.
On January 21, 2021, Creg was with his partner, Michael Butler Jr. That would be the last day anyone heard from or saw Creg Lyles.
Michael had since been arrested for another crime but has since been released. He has refused to answer any questions since then.
