Here’s a little true story. I have this friend named Disha, who uses these gorgeous deep matte colors on her eyes and dazzles in them. Now me and Disha have pretty similar skin-tones, so I decided to buy the exact same shade and try the same look. I was so confident it would suit me that I didn’t even bother asking her to let me try her eyeshadow! But guess what… this experience turned out to be a major bummer cuz the color just never popped on my eyes the way they did on Disha’s. But silver-lining — the experience made me want to write this blog — to share what I learnt about the importance of knowing your eye’s shape, to get that perfect eye-makeup look.
