Clean energy has a big problem

What if the sun don’t shine and the wind don’t blow?

Well, you say: “That's why we have batteries.” And that’s true.

But here’s the problem with batteries: They cost a fortune, they’re inefficient, and they are full of toxic materials, creating a huge disposal problem.

Other than these things, batteries are great.

The good news is:

Battery technology is advancing - grinding slowly forward. Unfortunately, a lot slower than our efforts to create clean energy, which are moving along at a respectable pace.
