My very first job was a sales person for startup. I was selling website space for an online directory — a new concept in the early 2000s. I sucked at that job but I learnt a lot. I met my design mentor there. I also met a young creative entrepreneur who had the loveliest store in the same building. I must’ve had a ton of courage back then because I approached her and she was so nice to me. She even hosted some of my early pieces in her establishment. The most valuable lessons I learnt from her was never, ever give up. It has made me into the illustrator and professional I am today.

Resilience is the key to success in any business, and this is especially true for women-owned businesses. In today’s competitive market, setbacks are inevitable, but with the right strategies, women entrepreneurs can bounce back stronger than ever.
The Power of Mindset: Embracing Challenges
