Bird Spotlight-White Breasted Nuthatch

We were fortunate to have a visit from this wonderful bird, which surely signaled the beginning of Spring here in Central NY State. I very seldom get the chance to get a good photo of this bird.

The Intriguing White Breasted Nuthatch

These birds are fun to watch. If you’ve seen them you know what I mean. They frequently can be found climbing up and down tree trunks and branches. They love sunflower seeds and suet. They will hunt through the birdseed until they find a sunflower seed.
