This quote is from an atheist author’s book. I don’t know much of anything about him. I don’t even remember how I came to stumble across this quote but I think I like it.
I’ve spent most of my life in an Adventist church. Don’t get me wrong, it was lovely. Sort of. Mostly lovely? Of course this was up until the point I posted a video of me in a swimsuit which my pastor saw and sent to the entire church to discuss(excluding my relatives and I of course). I should mention I was 14 at the time. I stopped going to church for 3 years after that. Being there, knowing that all of these people smiling at me were quietly talking about me while no one said anything to me was overwhelming.
