Criticize Taylor Swift? Is that even legal?
Seriously, I’m not sure if in the state of Tennessee where she lives one is permitted to criticize her. There might be a law; if not implied.
Would I have the audacity to get on a microphone and give this message to a legion of hormone riled up, screaming Swifties? Maybe. If I had a jetpack and could fly over them as they took the stage to tear off my limbs.
Such is the adoration for the incomparable Taylor Swift.

Look, before I get to it, let me say that I actually have incredible admiration for Taylor Swift. How could one not?
- She went after her dream as a teen, knowing what she was about and what her passion was, and she realized her dream
- Signed a record deal at age 14 in 2005
- Writes her own music; music that resonates with millions
- Has prolifically churned out new music for the last 18 years
- An absolute creative phenom in her videos; videos which she plays a leading role in envisioning and producing
- Her concerts sell out in hours the world over
- Has managed to navigate both country and pop genres without alienating her fans in either
