A little over two years ago, I had taken on my two teenage boys full-time. If you are a frequent reader of my work, then it is no secret that I am a full-time single parent. Both of my boys are on the autism spectrum, which makes them differently abled in many areas and are challenged in unique ways. I have my boys full-time, seven days a week, and I work full-time. There is not much of a break for anything else in my life.
Fortunately, in my situation, my mom has been able to help me out by providing for my two children. It has been to their benefit and my own. I don’t have anyone else to help me with them, and at this moment in time, they are thriving in this dynamic that has been ongoing for them.
