It’s quite a rare occurrence to dine at a multi-michelin-star restaurant. I can probably count the times I’ve done it on one hand. There’s many reasons for that, not just the cost (although that is often a bit much), the availability (I’ve tried to dine at French Laundry to no avail), but also, Steve and I have often wondered if the level of attention to each morsel is actually worth the cost.
On a per bite basis, these meals are no doubt the most you’ll ever spend. And not just because they’re expensive. There just aren’t that many bites!
Oh, but are those bites heavenly!
