You see, Jupiter has been confusing to me. I confuse its goal-orientedness with Saturn; its dreams with Neptune. And now that I’ve bought my first book dedicated to our solar system’s largest planet — “Exploring Jupiter” by Stephen Arroyo (1996) — Jupiter is considered the higher octave of Mercury when I thought that was Uranus?! How in the hell in all of my education have I not considered Jupiter a mental planet? Have I gone mental? Or, has Mr. Arroyo?
As I’ve veered into medical astrology research and its subsequent circles, there’s been mention of the mental health-related signs being the mutable ones; that they are most prone to afflictions. But, in the air of Jupiterian optimism, what about mental wellness — especially as Jupiter rules half of the mutable signs, Sagittarius and Pisces?
