15th June 2023, we crossed half of the world to reach Vancouver. Vancouver is famous for its scenic views, mild climate and friendly people. This city has a young vibe to it. You will see young people commuting from one place to the other, they have a destination to reach, a goal to achieve, a destiny to fulfill. It is a melting pot of cultures, like different tributaries of a river flowing separately yet ready to fall into the same ocean.
We visited the downtown and fell in love with the way they have laid out the streets and buildings in the downtown. One thing that caught my attention was a mural on one of the walls close to the waterfront. This mural has a title “Wall for Women”, painted by the artist Ola Volvo and is dedicated to the women who have suffered domestic abuse.
