My family and I planned a meticulously organized trip to visit my sister’s family in New Zealand. We were traveling with three young children, ages 3, 9, and 12, and we booked a non-stop flight on Qantas from Dallas Fort Worth to Sydney. It was our first time on such a long flight, lasting a staggering 17 hours, but we were pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it went.
