ELK stack is a popular choice for most people who are trying to learn and get their hands dirty in security operations or either someone in a small-medium enterprise who is looking for a one-stop solution for log aggregation, application performance monitoring or general security needs.
There are numerous guides available on the internet to quickly deploy and run ELK stack locally, although the task looks simple but can become a little overwhelming for someone who is not used to technical stuff.
Therefore I am presenting this guide using solid tools to quickly spin up Elasticsearch instances with Kibana on Windows using Docker Desktop and WSL for commandline access.
