Irecently had the chance to visit Lin’s Asian Bar and Dim Sum in Austin for a dim sum brunch with my family. It was an interesting experience, to say the least.
The restaurant’s unique design and trendy atmosphere is set just a short distance away from the bustling downtown hub.
Unfortunately, we didn’t make reservations, so we had to wait outside the restaurant for about 20 minutes on a hot Texas day. Thankfully, there was some shade to provide relief from the heat.
The restaurant itself has a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Our server was friendly and offered recommendations, which we appreciated. The food we ordered was quite delicious.
Lin’s Asian Bar and Dim Sum is owned by a well-known female chef in Austin, who also owns other Asian restaurants in the city. The restaurant has a small size but a unique vibe.
The outdoor patio is covered and decorated with lanterns, giving it a pleasant aesthetic. Inside, the décor includes Asian art on the walls and intricate umbrella designs on the ceiling.
