It is challenging threading through this path. I find it difficult to stay focused and consistent.”
“I have noticed you have been consistent in this whole data thing. How do you make it possible? I need some help!”
“Learning Data Engineering is a long process and may take a long time to gain mastery. I may not hold on!”
Oftentimes, friends and colleagues make these statements. Many don’t even attempt getting their feet into the space and they suddenly draw their conclusions based on other people’s past experiences — a very wrong approach.
A number of factors are responsible for this — Relying on other peoples’s negative experiences, Lack of adequate level of determination, and No proper plan for learning amongst other factors.
To be candid, It takes a lot of effort, determination, a high level of discipline, and consistency to scale through in Data Engineering. While a lot of people make the whole learning process fun, others struggle in the pursuit of this career and this most times leads to burnout.
