One of the best things about the startup/tech industry in Toronto is how collaborative it is. I get to go for coffee meetings with new people from the industry once or twice a week, if not more! The frustrating thing is that most major coffee places (especially downtown) are overcrowded, noisy, and full of distractions.
Quantum Coffee is in the ideal location (King/Spadina) and has lots of great natural light, but there is almost never available seating, they’ve made it very difficult to plug in a charger, and if you’re in the startup space, you can’t help but run into at least 3 people you know every time you go.
