I’m lucky to live in my favorite place, Amsterdam.
When I travel to a new city, I always end up with mixed feelings: the joy of discovering a new spot, and the disappointment that none can compare to the Dutch capital.
Except when I recently visited Montreal.
There I could feel a bit of the freedom and creativity I feel back home.
Here is why I could consider living in Montreal.
- Le Plateau-Mont-Royal: the neighborhood that got me hooked
- The people: could they be the friendliest and funniest in the world?
- Street art: the best part of Montreal’s visual identity
- Thrift and vintage shopping: hard to find a higher density of stores!
- Easy access to Nature: you’ll find the first trails a short drive away
And the list goes on, I’ll need to go back to work on that :-)
