During the holiday season, individuals from different cultures and traditions gather to celebrate. Although Christmas is primarily linked with Christian customs, it has become a time when people from diverse backgrounds participate in the spirit of joy and goodwill. In Islam, celebrating Christmas is not a religious practice since it is connected with the Christian faith. We can debate religious differences and the origin of Christmas all day long. However, as a Muslim, I have spent years respecting those who celebrate Christmas and find joy in doing so. I have also accepted invitations to Christmas gatherings from Christian friends and enjoy watching many Christmas movies. This article aims to explain why, as a member of the Muslim faith, I find significance in joining the festivities of Christmas.
