First, I came to Lisbon in November 2022 to attend the WebSummit, one of the biggest marketing events in Europe. I came with absolutely zero expectations… and I got blown away!
I did not know what to expect whatsoever, did no research, and have never been to Portugal before. Little did I know when I arrived, that I would fall in love with this city.
As a digital nomad, I want to be able to work remotely and travel the world. I have a list of criteria for where I want to go and what I need from that city. For me, safety is at the top of the list; if I’m going to be working from home and traveling frequently, it has to be safe.
