Twenty years have slowly passed since that fateful April when a well-respected family of five mysteriously vanished from their home over the space of a few days. During the week of April 11 to April 18, three generations of the Bogda??ski family disappeared from their Polish home, including the grandmother, Danuta (66); her son Krzysztof (42) and daughter-in-law Bo??ena (44); and their daughter Ma??gorzata (15 or 16) and son Jakub (11 or 12).
Krzysztof and Bo??ena met while attending school together and married in 1985 before settling near their hometown of ??ód?? in central Poland. As a wedding present, Bo??ena’s family gifted them with land in Starowa Góra, a small suburb of ??ód??, and Krzysztof began constructing their new home on the plot.
