I was in Prague last week with my sister when she told me she was going to Vienna for the weekend — and asked me what she should do there. I reminded her that Before Sunrise was filmed in Vienna, the 1995 Richard Linklater film that sees Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke wandering around the city one night and falling in love.
Then I remembered that I was going to Paris on the same day. And of course, Before Sunset, the 2004 sequel where Jesse and Celine rekindle their romance, is set in Paris. Naturally, we had to re-live the wonder of the movies at the EXACT SAME TIME.
