While the other characters in the Louisiana swamp this week made it there thanks to intelligence and deductive reading, the actual private investigator in the event is pretty much given a straight path thanks to the attack on his office in Millennium #4.

As soon as they reach Louisiana, the Spectre ditches Corrigan and Kim Leung. He heads straight for the Manhunters’ base in the swamp. The Spectre easily sees a Manhunter, just as the robot is preparing to do something horrible to a group of captured humans.
