Are We Cold to the Little Things in Our Lives?

Why do we sometimes think the spectacular things mean the most, looking up only at those who have accomplished something grandiose?

Do we not achieve much in the little moments at work, school, and around noon at the grocery store?

Is not the first bicycle ride without help, the first solo drive in Dad’s car, and the first date without Mom sitting close by somewhere cherished memories not easily forgotten — the moments that made us feel alive?

Take time for introspection and reflection, refocusing on what is most important — family, friends, hobbies, perks received for a job well done, all the little things and challenges overcome, even the quirks others love.

Cherish who we are, how far we have come, and what we have accomplished, realizing every little thing put together makes us certainly something grandiose, notable in our own right.
